A series of large paintings I did many years ago. I was fascinated by the shapes laundry makes when blowing in the wind from a clothes line. These paintings are each 60"x48" (six by four feet) or 1.9 x 1.3 meters.

Imagine it. Your only son dies horribly in an evil and completely unnecessary war of #Russian aggression, and you're given a set of #towels.
Perhaps #Russia expects the widows and mothers to mop up their tears of grief with them? Previously, the families of the dead had, also incongruously, been given a #Lada car... I wonder why they downgraded that to a set of towels?
