This has been worrying me since digging into the coastline around the SoCal #ports while researching #OilBeach. There's an unfathomable amount of toxic petrochemical crap barely above sea level. A big storm surge will unleash a lot of poison.

I can't remember if this detail is in #OilBeach or not: the 1st ship in Long Beach to plug into shore power, ie. run off the grid instead of burning filthy fuel while docked in the harbor, was an #oil tanker.
