Back in 1980 Japanese electronics manufacturer Roland released one of the most important musical instruments ever, the TR-808. Although it only led a limited life, the 808 became world renowned, its signature low end bass and unique sounds redefining the musical landscape.

Behringer RD-9 (498 x 265 x 77 mm, 3kg) analog recreation of Roland TR-808.
Roland TR-08 (308 x 130 x 52 mm, 1.3kg) boutique digital recreation of Roland TR-808.
The Behringer is about the same size as the original 808 (508 x 305 x 105 mm, 5kg) but not as thick or heavy.
Each borrow heavily from the original UI
