Es ist ein geiler Moment, wenn das #100m Finale der Frauen mit extrem hochkarätiger Besetzung gerade dabei ist, in die Startblöcke zu steigen, die ganze #Schweiz per TV zusieht und genau dann ein Kabel der #Fehlstartanlage kaputt geht. Ohne die Fehlstartanlage sind auf diesem Niveau keine Rekorde mehr gültig, also Kommando zurück und los geht die Fehlersuche.

We kept the list updated through Rio and added the 4x400m and the women's relays. It was half a joke, half a stick with which to beat USATF and their processes around relay selection and coaching.
I stepped away from covering #TrackAndField in 2016 to spend more time with my kids, and I haven't been keeping up the list. But I'm looking at the results coming in from #WCBudapest23 and... I think if I was still keeping it, it would be time to stop. #athletics

If jumping events are tied at the end they ask the jumpers if they want to keep jumping until one wins or each get gold medals. The right answer is obviously “two gold medals” and it’s always so cute when they agree on it (also happened in the men’s high jump at Tokyo Olympics)
