So far the Deft Pro is the coolest one I've tried. #Trackballs It is smaller than the Huge by quite a lot and kind of fits my hand better. But it's gonna take some time to break in.

Other things I enjoy are: programming in #perl and #go, tea, synthesizers, #sustainability, #freesoftware, #postgresql and random bits of technological history.

Currently testing the Elecom Huge after years with the MX Ergo ... first impressions:
– this fingerwheel feels not bad but actually much less precise. i am aware of the bearing issue... currently works best with three fingers lol
– signal currently is much better than with the logi - no dropout, sender on computer under my desk
– the form / handsupport is kinda terrible in comparison to the logi
– scrollwheel is ...ok

i feel more under control with the logi for now

I am torn between the Elecom Deft Pro and Kensington Orbit Fusion. I have an Elecom HUGE, but I don't really like it. Which replacement should I get? Orbit Wireless with Scroll Ring is also possibly an option, but lack of buttons is a minus (ambidextrous is a plus). Which one is best? Mostly for regular mouse usage. I play games with a mouse.
