Part 36/78, The King of Cups represents someone who is emotionally balanced, compassionate, and diplomatic. While this may seem more like Celestia than Luna on the surface, I couldn't help but think about Luna after she'd conquered the Tantabus- so calm and self assured, confident in her ability to do her divine task of guarding the night and our dreams. The Cups arcana is one of water and healing, and what better way to finish it than with Luna as it's master?

Bit of a departure from the Namii project this week as I return to the project that started this whole artistic odyssey, my Tarot Ponies series!

Part 35/78! This is the traditional piece, the Queen of Swords. The card itself, in upright position at least, represents independent and unbiased judgement, clear boundaries, and direct communication. This very much reminds me of post reformation Starlight Glimmer, after she's had a chance to address her demons.

The Swords arcana is interpreted as elemental air, so while I might have chosen a pegasus in her place, I instead opted for an airy background and scene.
