This week #AdriftLab was joined by Tanya, a #TradtionalOwner from Kepa Kurl/Esperance. We traveled to northern Australia (☀️Tanya’s home Country, yay!) and this morning, we flew to a remote #island to undertake a damage assessment after #CycloneIlsa. Sad to say, there was significant mortality of the breeding #seabirds with very few individuals of an #endemic species left alive 🐦🏝🌀
