@DrTCombs Good question! And likewise re: "turning vehicles yield to bicycles," like this sign on East Market Street, Salinas. You might contact Andrew Easterling or others at City of Salinas (contact info here: https://bikemonterey.org/advocate-for-active-transportation-bicycling-and-more-in-salinas-and-elsewhere-in-monterey-county.html) and ask if they have any stats on that.
