I love my #PenAndPaper #TTRPG players for many reasons, one of them being the philosophical exploration of our #Escapism. Different #RPGs cater to different needs, much like #AncientGreek #Dramas. Where, e.g., #WerewolfTheApocalypse should in general be a heroic epic in which the PCs vindicate Gaia, games like #CallOfCthulhu and #Kult are #Tragedies in which the #Catharsis comes from the suffering and, often, failure of the PCs, showing the players ( +#DM )that reality isn’t that bad, after all.
