Phantom from 10,000 Leagues (1955) - 0/4 - As #JoeDante points out in a #TrailersFromHell episode, the Phantom/monster is only ever shown a couple of meters underwater, not 10,000. It is historically interesting that the film was paired with the early #RogerCorman picture, The Day the World Ended. Though I haven't found anything to indicate this, it's also possible that Phantom's awfulness got spoofed to a degree in Corman's later #Creature send-up, The Creature from the Haunted Sea.
