Got a bit of shock this morning because the #train2EGU was simply missing in Enschede, but I managed to catch up using alternatives. Wondering why it's a only a one piece train though, it should be packed with scientists.#EGU23

Started my @EuroGeosciences journey last night with trains from Cambridge to Amsterdam via London. Currently on my way from Amsterdam to Berlin for a 24h layover with old friends. Getting into the spirit of German gastronomy... 🚅🌭🍺😁#Train2EGU

Finally sitting in the #train2egu (if that is a hashtag?) Although the very first regional train in the morning made troubles and I had to cover the first 15 km by taxi. For 40 euros... argh. Thanks #deutschebahn. Anyway, very exited (and kinda scared at the same time) to meet you all awesome #EGU23 people soon!

Finally found the time to make some 🚂 #statistics for #2022!

It's been a busy year, mainly because I live 576 km away from my partner and 630 km away from my hometown. But also: conferences, visiting friends, and summer holidays!
