The problem with 'teachers' (i.e. employees of schools who manage classrooms) is not just that some are lazy or domineering -- it's that they are the front lines of a system that is designed to turn kids into a commodity called 'labor'. An exceptionally good teacher may be able to shield their students a bit, but even the best teacher can't get past the basic fact that they are expected to control their students and make them conform in all aspects -- classroom behavior, knowledge acquisition, deference to authority -- and they are instructed to use a variety of manipulative and abusive tactics to achieve this conformity. Megan Trainor is one of many victims of this abusive system -- don't give her shit for her outburst.
