It's Trans Appreciation Friday! I'm Lazuli, I use she/her and sometimes they. I'm finishing my PhD, where I study communication, psychology, information processing, and music.

I'm just shy of 10 months on HRT, and my egg cracked about 11 months ago.

I'm autistic, and I'm involved in autistic support systems for young adults. I'm a musician, photographer, writer, cyclist, and (recently) gardener.

The joy I feel getting to be myself, and for my body to make sense to me, for the first time in my life is immeasurable.

I'm Madison, pronouns are she/they. I'm a non-binary woman or demiwoman who recently had a gender-affirming hysterectomy thanks to very cool and understanding doctors. In addition to being trans, I'm also bi and demisexual, a huge hockey fan, going back to school for Film Studies, and a practicing witch! Watching TV and movies is my favorite past time, although sandbox-style video games are another passion of mine. Oh and I also love romance novels and dating sims 😂

I'm a loving married dad, autistic, a friendly goof, a mechanical engineer, play with cars in all sorts of detail oriented ways, build things, 3d print, cast metal, and kind of vacuum knowledge.

One of the things I'm proudest of is that I do a pretty good job of attaching ego not to being right but in my ability to put my opinions aside and learning.
