"Thanks awful letter" This #1900s #postcard shows a technique used to try to stop the postman being able to easily read it on the way up the garden path. Writing in four columns is awkward to read. In this case the writer tells her niece (Miss H #Chilcott in #Southampton) she has had two teeth pulled out.
