Celebrating and remembering on this Transgender Day of Remembrance.

At least 32 (certainly an undercount) trans people were killed this year for simply trying to be true to themselves and live a life that was not a lie.

85% of these were people of color.
63% were black trans women.

Today, I will remember you. I’ll keep speaking up in a world that hates people like us for simply having the audacity to be alive.

I will remember.
