I sat and waited for my #tattoo artist to get set up and a mom and her kid walked in.

Kid was central casting teenager. Insecure shoulders hunched forward, baggy shirt, hands in pockets of baggy jeans.

"He looks a lot like me at that age." I thought.

The mom then #gendered the kid as a she.

And i thought "YUP, she sure does!"

So she's why I went out today. She is who I was brave for.
