AFAIK @ErinInTheMorn has a huge list of anti-trans legislation sorted by states.

At this point I'd be inclined to make some sort of #Wiki /#map similar to the #ilga's #trans legal mapping report.

I remember that once there was an extensive effort at @trans_rescue nee #TransEmigrate but that seemed abandoned due to lack of resources like personnel hours and funding.

Cuz if it was basically ever trans person from the Arab peninsula would've chosen otherwise.

But it's not a choice:
And neither did these people choose to be born / raised / stuck where they are.

Much of being @trans_rescue 's director really sucks, but one part is very moving. I get to talk with #trans people in the US and UK about their options for getting out, and those conversations are mostly about their lives - their partners, careers, and aspirations. And we so rarely do that as trans people. The stories of our lives have 'I worked like crazy to get this restaurant going' edited out.
