What the fuck is wrong with the UK? This basically means that kids won't be able to socially transition at all since medical diagnosis is as rare as a unicorn
Gonna be honest, I'm not sure why somebody would pay so much money just to be gatekept for 6 sessions, I expect that this new company will flop and they'll blame anyone but themselves.
Somehow I have to get my GP to do blood tests for GenderGP, hopefully they do it
My referral was apparently finally sent off to an endocrinologist, maybe we're going places.
Apparently my CMagic diagnosis isn't sufficient to get me on the fast track waiting list at the Leeds GIC, that sucks ;-;
I wasn't originally planning on doing this so early but here we go:
I've decided to open a trans healthcare fund for myself and put as much of my own money into it as possible, I'd also really appreciate any donations since I can't afford the care that I need on my own, I've also been struggling to be seen by an NHS doctor despite having a diagnosis of gender dysphoria already and being told that I'd be referred to an endocrinologist. It seems like I'll have to wait to be seen by Leeds GIC, which could take a half decade or more.
I'm currently paying for my hormones with my personal funds and don't intend to use this crowd funder for that, what I want it for is other trans related expenses such as:
- laser hair removal (which I'm just starting)
- getting on a better anti-androgen
- FFS (in the long term)
If you want to donate the best way to do it is CashApp:

If you want to donate by some other means let me know and I can sort something out.
Also if you can't donate boosting goes a long way to help
Thank you all so much

I called up the hospital I was supposed to be referred to for my endocrinology appointment, they never got it. I called up my GP and they don't know anything and I called up a hospital that I think my GP accidentally referred me to and they didn't answer the phone. How is trans healthcare this frustrating in the UK???
Sent the Leeds GIC my gender dysphoria diagnosis from CMagic. It's highly unlikely but maybe that'll get me on the fast track waiting list?
I finally got my GP to pass my referral from CMagic to an endocrinologist. Hopefully their wait list isn't too long
A trans friend of mine has just started a GoFundMe for their surgeries. It'd mean a lot to both of us if you were to look at it and share it around.

This is really fucked up and has consequences far beyond what the general public realise. For instance: if you’re a trans woman who commits a petty crime to support yourself you’ll be thrown into a men’s prison where you’ll be significantly at significant risk of experience violence against you.

I’m putting together this post to provide useful resources for trans people in the UK (and often rest of the world), it’s the least I can do. I’ll add to it if I think of anything that should be here, feel free to do the same.
Gender Construction Kit - https://genderkit.org.uk
Useful page walking you through how to change various aspects of your gender in the UK, generally a great place to start!
The Trans Lady’s Guide to Getting HRT in the UK - https://transhealthuk.noblogs.org/navigating-uk-trans-healthcare/the-trans-ladys-guide-to-getting-hrt-in-the-uk/
Article describing how to get onto HRT in the UK through the NHS. Note that some of the information in this article is out of date or not applicable if you live in a less trans friendly area. Still a good read.
GenderGP - https://www.gendergp.com
Perhaps the only informed consent clinic operating in the UK, it can be pricey but it’s a good way to get onto HRT. They’re the service that I use and I highly recommend looking at them since depending on how you DIY GenderGP might not be that much more expensive.
DIYHRT Cafe - www.diyhrt.cafe
Useful resource for sourcing DIY HRT.
Trans Harm Reduction - https://transharmreduction.org/hrt-testing
Page testing various DIY HRT products, great to ensure you know what you’re getting 👍
DIYHRT Wiki - https://diyhrt.wiki
Basically a goldmine of information about DIY HRT. I love this site because it has a page on transmasc DIY, which is under discussed in the DIY community. Thanks to @SleepyCatten for bringing this page to my attention.
