It's #edgelordism and they'll float from #leftist to #reactionary to #libertarian and back again if it means a consistent thrill of #transgression.
But I kinda wonder: will they leave #Twitter or will they find they can't get the same thrill on #Mastodon ?

Never trust an #edgelord.
There are a lot of people, especially in a social media environment as prone to antagonism and #clapbacks as Twitter, who just truly enjoy #transgression. And these people will co-opt any idea to commit them.
