Four years apart, starting HRT and then today for comparison. I am so happy I get to live my life as my true self, and I could not have asked for a better outcome.

Estrogen has literally taken a decade or more off me, gaining some weight helped a little too. I was carded for liquor last week, and Im 36. This profound change should help you understand why so many trans people choose to take hormones. My outside didn’t match my inside, and as I aged, it got progressively worse and I was thoroughly miserable. If I hadn’t transitioned I likely would have succumb to my depression and suicidal ideation.

Now that I’m here, even though there’s lots of bigotry in the world and places where me and my sisters aren’t safe, I wouldn’t rather be anyone else.
