It's unhealthy, but I have gotten into the habit of starting my day by checking the front page of #foxnews and counting the number of #transpanic stories and using that as a baseline of anxiety for the day. We're starting at 2 today, down from 5 yesterday, so, good start to the week!

What's the best concise mythbuster for people who haven't fallen down a whole #transPanic rabbit-hole, but have just been absorbing the UK media's anti-trans campaign mostly by osmosis, and are too old to realise how little they should trust the Guardian or BBC Radio 4?

They might be repeating common transphobic talking points as Reasonable Concerns without knowing the context, and assume that a lot of the coverage of things like #grr and puberty blockers is broadly accurate.

They want to think they have nothing against #trans people, and maybe they really don't! They just worry vaguely about women's spaces/penises/sterilisation, or whatever, and haven't had the motivation and opportunity to question what they've heard about these things.

So a quick rundown of the most common myths and sources to disprove them might help shift their thinking.
