One thing the big rule change (one square per round trip) in this year's #TranspoBingo really underscored is how rarely I leave the house. One outing per day, even when I manage to string together multiple "trips" really is not conducive to doing well.
Took my first Veo
ride. Some thoughts:
- Operates just like a #scooter
- Sit down and bigger wheels makes for a much safer feeling ride
- B/c it's technically a bike, not capped at 10 mph by DC Council like it's stand up cousin
- Overall, super fun!

Rode in 3+ different bike lanes on my morning #SEAbikes commute for #TranspoBINGO on my acoustic bike; it has a warmer “sound” (explains the sweat 😅) #Seattle #BikeTooter
-I’ve had this bike since I 1st moved to #PacificNW
-lovely José Rizal Bridge view on 12th Ave
-bike lane with red fife wheat loaf on 5th Ave
-loaf with some penicillin on 7th Ave

Today’s #TranspoBINGO square is “used at least 5 different modes of transportation in a 80-mile-plus round trip”
D8 Metrobus->
MARC Penn Line ->
Charm City Circulator Purple Line ->
Charm City Circulator Orange Line ->
Baltimore Light Rail ->
MARC Penn Line ->
DC Streetcar
Picking up speed yesterday after a slow #TranspoBINGO start! Many travels: 16th St bus lane; bus across Rock Creek; plus other squares I could have marked but…1 square/round trip rule. 🙂
Factoid shared with coworkers: the start of the 42/43 bus route in Mt Pleasant is the old streetcar route!
Did some rides for #TranspoBINGO from #Seattle today
-rain jacket & pants for morning #SEAbikes commute
-riding in bike/forklift lane (not complaining, as the forklift drivers tend to be safe)
-transpo to support local biz Old Habits Barbershop (another great ‘cut from Gabriel)
-shhh, the trains are sleeping!

Never done #TranspoBINGO. Going to take a Baltimore trip on Sunday that just might include a DC bus, a streetcar, MARC, light rail, and Baltimore bus.
Maybe if we go for the stretch goal we could add Metrorail and a harbor taxi to this trip. Could we just declare victory after that and call it a day?
