The Department of Transport and Planning has quietly released the latest data for the 2020 VISTA survey: https://dtp.vic.gov.au/about/data-and-research/vista/vista-data-and-publications
VISTA (Victorian Integrated Survey of Travel & Activity) is the only comprehensive dataset available for transport across Victoria. It involves a statistically significant sample of households and people across the state filling out travel diaries with detailed information about their trips.
There is a lot of great data in here covering a range of topics that aren't included in any other dataset of its kind.
The most important thing about VISTA is that it covers ALL trips. While the Australian Census does survey many more people, it only collects information about travel mode for journeys to work and education. These only make up about 25% of all trips. VISTA helps us understand the other 75%, as well as many other things.
Definitely check it out at the link above!
