BBC News - Green man could stay on longer for pedestrians in England

Maybe the Welsh Government could do the same? Being a registered blind pedestrian is a challenge, especially one that enjoys walking #WelshGovernmet #Wales #DisabilityLife #transportforwales

@epistatacadam @gomez @Flamekebab I'm a big supporter of #TransportForWales. And yes, they face huge challenges, many of which are legacy issues. I trust them to do their best, acknowledging that there are bound to be failures and frustrations along the way
Man, this train is rammed. So glad I got to the station early, I was able to get on as soon as the doors opened and grab a good seat. I feel sorry for all the people standing, I hope they’re not going all the way to Manchester. This train really needs to be made up of more than two carriages #PublicTransport #TrainTravel #TransportForWales

I really enjoyed watching the BBC Wales programme about the rail plans and future delivery in Wales this evening. Particularly liked the train driver training didn't realise how long and involved the training is. Also the electrification info and the new trains. Every member of staff came over as friendly and interested in the future of rail travel especially the staff and Cardiff Central.

Finished my second Slow Ways route of the day - Penybont i Sarn. All road walking and very urban. I naively believed the TFW train app that my train was running from Sarn now I’m stranded six miles walk from home 😔. #SlowWays #Sarn #Bridgend #Penybont #TransportForWales #Stranded #LongWalk

Time for the first train in a 13-hour #train funtime back to France, luckily unaffected by strikes. My #transportforwales service has a driver and a guard. Just as it should.
This is not news, it’s been said before, but every time I look at train prices, it’s a reminder of how broken it is. Here’s a couple of snaps of the ticket machine prices at #LlantwitMajor station. For a group of four to travel to Cardiff (40minutes) is £5.90 each return, on the “small group” rate. I’ve attached the car parking rates for St David’s in Cardiff. It is no surprise that car is king in this part of the world. #trains #TransportForWales

Here’s one I haven’t had before. My train was cancelled because the station lights have failed #TransportForWales #BarryDock 1/3

TIL that if you try and buy train tickets on the TfW/TrC app from the US it doesn't behave the same as in the UK.
Total refused to show any trains for a given Sunday from the US, defaulting to the Saturday before. When using repeated presses of the 'later' option to roll over to the Sunday it wouldn't show any Super Off Peak Tickets on one's that were priced between £20 and £50 more.
Are we penalising foreign visitors?
