CDU/CSU (Esp. Söder) copying US GOP rhetoric regarding trans people is sending chills down my spine.

If they come to power, we're seriously fucked. I hope I'll get my medical procedures and name change sorted out beforehand.

Would be more comfortable fleeing the country after that - but I hope I don't have to put my family through that.

I asked ChatGPT to write a trans CV (corrected to be more a statement about the course of life) as needed for "expert review" for example before medical procedures.

The interesting part: When I told it that the person in question did *not* know about being trans in their youth and hid it for fear of consequences (as ChatGPT initially assumed) but that the person was confused about "what was wrong with them" and repressed feelings of gender incongruence, it immediately changed what was previously a good career to a much "flatter" one.

Now this makes me think, given how ChatGPT was trained...
