right, wrapping up my somewhat extended #TransRightsReadathon on #transdayofvisibility with 2 and a half books read, gonna donate to both the #BelfastTRC and #TENI and I encourage anyone who can to do so too. Things have been tough for trans people around the world and Ireland is no exception unfortunately, trans-led orgs and resources need all the help!

Okay so I am overdue in closing out #TransRightsReadathon, but here it is. I estimate that I read 243 pages! That is $81 each for Trans Pride Initiative–an amazing Texas organization that supports trans people in prison; TAKE Resource Center–an amazing Alabama organization that offers housing, health education, and leadership development to trans people of color; and @arcgenderjust, the organization Pooja and I started building the power of trans jailhouse lawyers and gender justice movements.

X-Gender is another memoir manga detailing Miyazaki’s quest to find their romantic niche as an X-gender person, interspersed with information about gender & sexuality as its understood in Japan. #TransRightsReadathon

I bought this manga b/c I was excited to see a enby experience in manga form, and learn what the Japanese understanding of enby genders like mine is like. I don’t identify with everything about Miyazaki’s experience, but there is a lot that resonates.

Woof, ok, late for my last day of #TransRightsReadathon. I got a tattoo Friday (will share soon! It’s sooo pretty!) & apparently that was too much for my body as I lost the entire weekend. I did manage to read “X-Gender” by Asuka Miyazaki yesterday though.

Looks like I'm going to fall very short of my #transrightsreadathon goal - only managed to get 5 hours and 21 minutes through The Wicked Bargain. That's going to be $26.75 (rounded up to $30) to Trans Health Legal Fund.

However, since I started late, and since #TDoV is coming up - I'm going to keep it going with a separate donation on the 31st.

Any recommendations for another good trans-aligned charity?
