My daughter (12) is gender incongruent: her identity does not match the gender assigned to her at birth. She's not gender dysphoric (yet) Her 'boy parts' do not bother her in the current Tanner stage. It could well be that she'll be perfectly content living her adult life, without needing medical intervenience or surgery, if not for the fact that others will not understand or accept her for who she is. Which would make dysphoria a social structure, wouldn't it? #Transsupport #genderfreedom
