A question to my fellow transfems: When I asked my doctor about the orchiectomy, she told me it would be better to wait until the full vaginoplasty, because the resulting scar tissue would be problematic otherwise. This made sense to me at the time, but I've also met a lot of Trans women who just gut an orchi anyway.
Was this a concern to you? Was this mentioned at all, or is my doc maybe just misinformed? Wouldn't be the first time...

There's a HUGE range of estimates I've seen people give patients-- particularly women, around how long hair removal will take.
