Today marks five years of hormones for me. Some days it feels like forever and other days it feels like it was yesterday that I started. The first image is from 6 months in or so with the second being from 2020 and finally one from last week. The first one is actually me coming home from my first makeup lesson 🤣

Two years ago, I made a little Lego me for a kaiju kitten holiday card. Last week I decided to update my Lego self with a little timeline. The future is fringe.

I love legos as a means to explore our imaginations. For me, that’s always included how I see my gender.

On the bus in 7th grade, I traded my lvl 96 charizard to Andrew W for a long hair Lego piece. I wanted that piece so I could play as a girl. No regrets. But nowadays, I just bulk order on bricklink.

I have not done an official HRT timeline yet, mostly because it’s only been 3 months, and I assumed I’d be waiting longer. But… I was looking back in my photos and decided I had to share some.

Photos are at 3 months pre-hrt (rare facial hair sighting, mega eyebrows, and bunny snuggles), day 0 (with Kat snuggles), and at present day (no snuggles, just gender euphoria) which is 11 weeks into HRT.

When I started hormones I had no intent of doing this. When I started hormones I honestly still didn't believe I would ever find myself pretty.

Besides the 'before' picture, which was taken in December 2021, each picture here is about fifty days apart, less out of intent and more out of happenstance, until over 200 days in.

Each picture also represents an instance of significant trauma, the toll taking control of your life has on someone with agoraphobia.
