I went to the #birdsite today. the top trending hashtag they were promoting was "#TranswomenAreConMen". It had 2,181 tweets total. if I go to the list of hashtags trending I see multiple other hashtags with 100 times as many tweets. Why promote a transphobic hashtag with a small amount of activity as the single most important hashtag to care about? This is no accident. #twitter is cancer
