What a great shot from last night's (my time) cricket match in London showing the athleticism of Australian cricket player Travis Head.

When you watch the TV coverage, the high camera angle from front-on doesn't really show just how high the batters leap when taking on head-high, short-pitched deliveries. At the top right of the picture you can see the red ball with its lighter seam which has just flown past Travis Head at a speed of somewhere around 140 km/h (87 mph). #cricket #sport #ICCWTC #AUSvIND #photography #SportsPhotography #TravisHead #Australia #India

Obviously Scott Boland has a better average in test cricket than any other Australian since his debut in Melbourne last year. The second and (especially) third best are a little surprising: Michael Neser (5 @ 11.2) and Travis Head (6 @ 19).
