Some extreme narrow-casting but if you use a #TreadmillDesk and have had issues with static buildup (which could fry your equipment) I found a wide selection of ESD Electrostatic Dissipative footwear at rogansshoes.com. Wearing a pair of (Frankenstein-on-a skateboard) steel-toed Pumas and it solved the problem (which a grounding strap did not for some reason).

This is the first worldiest of problems but does anyone know how to deal with static buildup using a #treadmilldesk ? Afraid I'm going to fry my laptop or an HD. I -believe- it's grounded correctly three prong to three prong extension cord to three prong wall but who knows if the outlets in a pre-war appt are trustworthy? Treadmill seems to have rubber feet so don't know that a mat underneath would help. Prob is sneakers on the belt but going without not an option. #Lifespantreadmill
