At my friend Herbie’s gaff in deep countryside. These are his trees rich with crow’s nests. The noise is engrossing. #treeoftheday #treesagainstthesky #crows #trees

A large leafless tree stands at the end of this red brick Victorian terrace of shops. The tall arched window shops still have their original restored signage in place with the end of terrace belonging to Winder & Co. The side wall facing the tree reads Winder & Co Tobacconist Confectioners Smallware Dealer. I much prefer it to the commercial streets of today, this one is on Abbey Road in Barrow-in-Furnes in South Cumbria #trees #TreeOfTheDay #Victoriana #architecture
