What is this sorcery? A remix of one of the most complete records of the 1980’s #abc #lexiconoflove #stevenwilson remix. It strips away a lot of the studio artifice of #TrevorHorn and whilst on some songs like All Of My Heart there is some merit on stripping back, much of my enjoyment of the original is in the studio gags that everyone knows. I will listen to this again though.

Revisiting #ABC Lexicon Of Love. Undoubtedly one the finest albums of the 80’s. #TrevorHorn gets the plaudits for the production but Anne Dudley did an amazing job on the arrangements. A career defining album. Lyrics are fun, with Martin Fry’s tongue never far from his cheek. It’s a real audiophile’s album, full of little musical gags that dance around the loudspeakers or headphones

Man, I really love Yes's "Into the Lens," which is a reworking of The Buggles's "I Am a Camera." Not only is it fascinating to hear the Buggles-absorbed version of Yes perform this song (damn, Alan White's drumming!), but even Trevor Horn pushes himself on the vocals. Because he knows he can't slum it here in the wake of Jon Anderson's absence!
