"Summer Crossing - Trexler Nature Preserve"

This footbridge carries hikers across a section of the Jordan Creek and further along the Observation Trail inside the Trexler Nature Preserve. Lush green plant life and common yellow wildflowers cover the landscape under partly cloudy skies on this bright summer afternoon.

Part of my January 1st walk at the Trexler Nature Preserve. Still working through some other shots. This was originally intended as a black and white, but I couldn't really figure it out visually, so went with something moodier.

It's always hard to remember which images I have or haven't shared here. This is a capture from this past Fall inside the Trexler Nature Preserve in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. The ubiquitous Blue Heron. I usually pass up shots of these guys, but if I see an interesting opportunity for composition, I'll take a few clicks.

Emerald green grass runs into the woods and the dense fog of the Trexler Nature Preserve in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. It's a wet October morning and these tall trees have already lost most of their leaves to the constant winds that blow through these higher elevations.
