My very best friend Ariela met #Trey last night right before he went onstage. I am waiting for her to post the vid so I can share, but I am so fucking happy for her you don’t even know! She painted Trey during the pandemic and has been trying to get it to him ever since. Last night, while wearing a tshirt of the print, she waltzed backstage (I told her just act like you’ve been there before), opened a door, and Trey was standing in front of her face. She deserves this joy so much I can’t even 🥰😍

quick #phish YEMSG night 1 (webcast) review ~ solid show, high energy and unpredictable ~ really liked the super dissonant robot noise jams a couple times in show (Melt & Simple I think), but they may not have been for everybody ~ seemed like #Trey didn’t have much control of pitch during those jams, would be interesting to get robot jams that had a bit more melodic nuance ~ the new camera angles, lights, & Page’s setbreak rig rundown all spectacular, innovative, & nerdy ~ next 3 looking bright
