@ptribble - strange issue, trying to install #Tribblix in a #VirtualBox VM, the installation process fails because no hard disk is detected: only the CD drive is seen by the system.

Installing Tribblix 031 on Ubuntu 20.04.6, VirtualBox version 6.1.38

I have tried fiddling with the IDE order (moving the DVD to secondary IDE), but no results so far.

So we already had fs-uae running on #tribblix for long time. Tribblix m29 does also run on qemu x86_64 on my Apple Silicon MacBook Pro M2 OS X. Next step is trying to get Bebbo‘s gcc cross compiler https://github.com/bebbo/amiga-gcc running on Tribblix. Someone already did it for Solaris so maybe it is just some tweaks and I can use Tribblix to develop for 𝑨𝑴𝑰𝑮𝑨. I know there are other options but I like this distro with its roots on #illumos #solaris 🙋🏻‍♂️ #amiga #fsuae

Upgrading Tribblix on a bunch of the old machines in my home lab.

In spite of - or perhaps because of - the upgrader being a simple shell script, the upgrade process is smooth, simple, reasonably fast, and pretty reliable.

Boring is good.
