Although #MintTheCoin is a crazy but viable idea. Here’s another one that might work. The Fed volunteering to to retire some debt to free up money to borrow or something like that. I don’t think it’s frightening at all. Anyway, I’m in favor of anything that’ll end Republican hostage taking forever.

While of course I think the Biden administration would be well-advised to begin work now on the #Trilliondollarcoin (#mintthecoin), I also think the so-called "Fourteenth Amendment option" is a reasonable approach for the following straightforward reason:

It is just paying your existing debts.

Does the Supreme Court really want to be getting into granting what is effectively taxpayer standing to somebody, and issuing an injunction, saying Treasury, don't pay your debts?
