Took my #motorcycle across the metro area to an independent mechanic. The ride over there took 50 minutes. The trip home via transit took 3 hours and 45 minutes. Two separate transit systems, and 5 different busses. No wonder people don’t use #transit more. #TriMet #CTran

For the first 12 or 18 months, they were crisply and clearly displaying the schedule from days, weeks, or even months ago. Made me wonder what sort of networking they use.

Recently have finally started working more reliably though...

Unfortunately, many stops that do not yet have them no longer have a schedule or even stop number posted...

I was telling my wife about the disappointing #Max launch, but she completely lost interest when it became clear that I wasn't talking about the #PDX #TriMet system.

@Mrfunkedude It’s nothing earth-shattering, but I’ve ridden to each end of every #Trimet MAX Light Rail line except for the west end of the Blue Line (Hillsboro), and that’s my goal #today!

A few speakers went over the ridiculous 1 minute comment limit (was supposed to be 2-3) and #TriMet brought in security goons to scare the commenters out. Cutting our time short is a bullshit tactic that #Portland is using to intimidate the citizens and silence #democracy.

1. Quickly figured out the answer to a random question about some balances that changed after period close.
2. It may have taken me 3 hrs 20 min to get home on the bus during tonight's snowstorm, but by gum, those #TriMet drivers got me home!
