I took this photo of the red cottage in #Trollaskagi peninsula, North #Iceland in May 2013. We drove by it again in May this year and it seemed to have undergone a renovation project since. It just didn't seem as rustic. But it could just be the lack of snow when I drove by it this year, or the realization that it's located very close to a town that ruined the illusion of it being in the middle of nowhere.
