I finally got around to watching a #Norwegian film called #Troll and I tell you what, it’s quite enjoyable. Thoroughly liked it. Yeah, it’s it Oscar material, but it’s just fun film to watch and it’s a joy to Trolls become a new “giant monster” in to the kaiju monster film genre. I wonder if it was inspired by the film #TrollHunter, again another thorough enjoyable film from Norway.

I watched the Norwegian film, #Troll last night. It followed the Hollywood monster film formula, but did it convincingly – a decent bit of entertainment. What was odd was that it went over such similar ground to #TrollHunter (2010), a much more interesting and entertaining film. Were #Netflix deliberately cashing in on an indie success, or was it an honest attempt by the filmmakers to do something of their own?

Am watching #Troll it's really good.
#TrollHunter was sort of a found footage docu, #Troll is a full on Monster Movie. It's got scientists, politicians, generals, a situation room, and a strained father & daughter relationship.

Great to see #Troll being treated like the #Kaiju they are.

Troll on Netflix is not bad. A pleasant watch. Not as good as Troll Hunter though, which I highly recommend.

If you like Norwegian Sci-Fi/Fantasy I also recommend the TV series Ragnorak, which is my type of superhero movie. Far less glittery than the stuff Hollywood churns out but just as exciting and action packed.

Se deja ver, y empaticé más con la criatura que con los humanos 😂 No me pareció coherente la actitud de la protagonista hacia el final de la película (era evidente cómo tenía que acabar todo, por desgracia).

Me gustó más otra película del mismo tema que se llama #TrollHunter que además es en primera persona 👌
