I finally got round to watching the end of #TheFlash and #Titans, they both kind of fizzled out but I'm a completionist.

Anyway, in The Flash one of my pet peeves reered its ugly head again, a hole, dug by hand with a spade, with perfectly level sides.

Ugh, really bugs me, anyone who has dug any kind of hole knows this is impossible without a machine!

Some thoughts before I shove off for parts semi-known.

One of the reasons I dislike 'gendercide' #postapocalyptic #fiction or #films is that they tend to ignore #intersex and #trans folks to an almost phobic level.

When I wrote Boy 90, I included an intersex character and the erotic magazine's editor asked she be removed because in his mind, it didn't make sense that "he" wouldn't have been purged with the rest of the men set in that world.

Ooooh, I just thought of another fun example: on _The Simpsons_, while Montgomery Burns isn't *always* the Big Bad, he is definitely a villain. Mr. Smithers is definitely his right-hand man. But also, very definitely *not* a Dragon.

(I mean, I could see them doing a bit where Smithers knows ninjutsu or something, and is a total badass. But it'd be a one-off. And I suspect it'd be hilarious.) #tropes #FunWithTropes #TVTropes
