A strong #TropicalCyclone is forecast to develop from a low pressure system west of Darwin in the coming days. It is currently forecast by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology to reach category 4 on their rating system, which is a high end 2 or 3 on the U.S. system,

On top of strong winds, heavy rainfall is expected in large portions of #WesternAustralia.

Two tropical cyclones have formed either side of Australia. #Gabrielle off the coast of Queensland, and #Freddy off the coast of Western Australia.

Gabrielle is tracking toward northern New Zealand, bringing the risk of more heavy rain and flooding by early next week.
