- Many authors do limit distractions by turning off notifications, using lower-tech devices like #trs80model100 or #AlphaSmart
- Momentum is key, even if it's just 100 words a day; make sure to set aside time
- Find a way to make writing easy; don't worry about using The Correct Software or The Correct Workflow
- Figure out your flow-inducing conditions and use them, if you're doing a big write.

The TRS-80 Model 100 - Released 40 years ago today! I bought a used one a while back, and probably last used it in the late 90s. I found it in a box in the basement recently, put new batteries in it, and it still works! (It only allows a 2-digit year, though, so it displays the year as 1923!)
