53 followers · 412 posts · Server tanztee.social#TIL If somebody sends you a #tib file (#Acronis #TrueImage which is now called something stupid with #Cyber) you do not need to open an account with them to get a #bootdisk to restore the #backup to a VM or machine. Install the demo version of the abomination of an app into a throwaway VM, go to the install folder, find the amedia.exe (acronismedia.exe?), run it and presto, you can create a reusable #linux #bootmedium from the advanced menu.
