@herrbischoff I understand the use of #Freebsd as a server is their priority, not desktop/laptop, but I'm sure it would be a success with better #wifi management (and suspend maybe, I don't know the state of it nowadays). #TrueOS was gathering a lot of audience until they drop the desktop environment, which mean a lot of people are interested in this concept.
edit: that said, I've yet to test #wifibox. Can you tell us more about your experience with it ?

I don't get to blame #FreeBSD for the poor /usr/share/skel/dot.zshrc file on one of my machines. It turns out that #TrueOS replaced the entire /usr/share/skel/ directory with its own versions of everything.
It's not a very good .zshrc, either. It hardwires a whole load of stuff that the Z shell already provides automatically in the $termcap array, then tweaks it with more hardwired stuff because lxterm and teken do not match.
And it doesn't even update non-main keymaps.
PC-BSD/TrueOS used to give the user several choices, from LXDE to GNOME, of desktop environment to start at login. There's definitely a range available. GhostBSD runs MATE out of the box, of that is one's thing.

Whoa, #ProjectTrident is rebasing away from #TrueOS / #FreeBSD :freebsd: and instead rebasing to #voidlinux :voidlinux:
