Hi, I am about to start taking #trulicity a #type2diabetes medication as I need to lose a little weight. Could I ask if anyone would be happy to share any side effects experienced? I am happy to take it but any recommendations of what to expect would be appreciated.

Well, that was a surprise...

Lab results done for the past 3-4 month stretch. This is a period with the holidays AND my birthday, so unusual amounts of extra restaurant food and even sweets.

My #A1C? Down from 6.1 to 5.8. 😲

Weight down, blood pressure under control, blood sugar doing great... what the heck is going on? I'm afraid of the results if I actually threw in exercise of any shape at all. 😅

@anthony I had to switch to #Trulicity here, in Israel, because supplies dwindled here too.

I really wish I could get #Trulicity (Dulaglutide) again. Apparently there was a rush on it after social media exposure (it can be used for weight loss). I can’t get my blood sugar down to an acceptable level without it. Despite being on 3 separate #medications for #Diabetes and am eating almost no carbohydrates.

About three weeks ago, I switched from #Trulicity to #Mounjaro to treat my #diabetes. The first couple weeks were pretty rough. I was nauseous and simply tired all the time.

This last week hasn't been so bad. I've felt pretty good. I have found that I cannot eat the portion sizes I was eating before I started taking the Mounjaro. If I eat too much, it all comes back up. So, I have reduced my portions greatly and eat much smaller meals when I do eat.
