It was indeed obvious once I knew the answer. Not much complicated maths at all once I found out that I needed to use the logarithmic spiral formula:
x = 𝑟⋅𝑒^(−y⋅𝑠𝑖𝑛(𝜌) / 𝑛)
z = 𝑟 − 𝑟⋅𝑡𝑎𝑛(𝜌)
