Such a shame Bertie wasn't re-cast for the film, they missed a trick.
There are some nice little nods to #StTrinians as well, classic #BritishComedy. Well worth a watch.

A talented cast of child actors and actresses. Alisha Weir is an absolute star in the title role, #Matilda. Fantastic supporting cast, especially #LashanaLynch as Ms Honey and #StephenGraham as Mr Wormwood. #EmmaThompson is recognisable as #Trunchbull.
The songs are memorable (they are from the stage musical and written by #TimMinchin).
Fantastic #familyfilm. Couldn't recommend it enough.
