It trades between 1.40 and 2 dollars, except in the 1979 energy crisis and it's catastrophic results leaving the pound at it's all-time low.

Then back in range, with even 2008's crash just taking us from the top to the bottom of that range.

Brexit pushed us below it though.

Down to 1.20

That level has been tested three times, and failed on the third time.

The pattern-completion would suggest a re-test of the break-down level at 1.20, followed by a further fall to about 95 cents.

Then maybe ranging around parity for a while? Depends how the #Trussterfuck ends, and the general everything-crisis.
